Good morning all

Friday comes round again and this week at Crafty Catz we have another great challenge for you chosen by Dianne. We also send our best wishes and hope she is recovering well.

Our challenge this week is for Decoupage............ we have the lovely sponsor of Crimson Cloud

Crimson Cloud who are giving 3 packs of die-cuts for the prize.

Here is my card, sorry the flash has taken some of the colour out.

Hopefully showing layers

kraft card base with pink matting, First edition 'Rose Garden' papers, they have faint writing in background which I could not capture,  sissex swirl die.Ribbon from crafty ribbons
4 layers of decoupage (no name, from my stash) resin rose, pearl,  sentiments from stash, all coated with stickles. Inside decorated to match.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges;

4 crafty girlsz challenge ---------- anything goes

crafty ribbons ------------ anything with a ribbon

Happy campers blogspot -------- show us your flowers

Paper crafting journey blogspot --------- Flowers

As it's damp looking out there this morning, I think my first job will be to go wall-paper hunting......... I hate doing this, but then again, every time I go upstairs it depresses me lol catch 22 situation.......I hope for a bit of dry weather over the weekend then I can sort out the hanging baskets, another depressing sight.......... I had better not look in the mirror as that is the MOST depressing sight of all. hehehehehehhe
Take a look at the teams fantastic work for inspiration.......

Take care and have a nice weekend, hope you can find time to join our challenge
Hugs Tilly x

Hi Tilly,

Beautiful card, love your layout and lovely flowers.
I hope the wall paper shopping went well and the weather cheers up so you can get the hanging baskets looking good again.
The sun is out but we have done cloud down here, I am hoping the washing will dry, I have another lot waiting to go out.
Have a lovely weekend, and thank you for the lovely comments you left while I was away.
Hugs Margaret

Gorgeous decoupage and a great layout too.

I hope you managed to find some wallpaper and the weather is supposed to be good for the weekend, so you can sort out your hanging baskets.

I'm off to Leeds Castle tomorrow, as H is doing Castles this term, Luv Sam x

This is so romantic, love these flowers, they surely look much better in reality (it is hard to take a 3D pic, when it's only a 2D).
Have a nice weekend!

A gorgeous card Tilly.
Those flowers are so pretty and I love all the layers of decoupage.

We need to decorate here too. The plan was to have a new staircase, bannisters etc and then redecorate the hall and the landing, but the money's all gone on the boys rent!

With regard to the boy and London...there are definitely some things I'm better off not knowing, my hairs going grey as it is!

Big hugs

This is such a pretty card Tilly. Loving all the flowers and layers.
I know what you mean about hunting wallpaper. I found some I liked recently, ordered it online on Saturday night along with curtains and pole and have had the phone call this morning it is ready to collect from the shop! How is that for service!!
xx
PS I liked the paper as it looked kinda like scrapbook paper!!
