Hello....

I hope you are enjoying your Bank Holiday, to those of us retired, it is just another day lol...What a wonderful day on Sunday with the lovely sunshine, not seen a lot of that this summer and now the nights are drawing in.
This week I made the card below for a friends 70th Birthday, unfortunately, I forgot to photograph it all put together, but you get the gist!

I love lace and pearls together

The fronts

The backs... the flowers are stamped with peg stamps, as was the envelope.

I also made a cards for a neighbours grandchild
Also a little sewing, a request for a baby quilt
It is in blues and grey's to fit the nursery.
Off to peel and cook a mountain of apples, I mentioned them to a friend and now have 3 large bags from 2 different neighbours!!....I see a lot of apple crumbles and pies for winter.... I was then given a large bag of plums so jam duly made lol....

Good morning

It's a wet and cold day here near Manchester, more like mid autumn! I have been busy in my craft room and here is some of what I have done.....
One of my favorite and versatile stamps from Penny Black

The sentiment is from Whimsey. Coloured with PM's matted on blue and candy dots. Kept it simple for my Grandson.
Next came a card for a nephew...

Dr Digi image coloured with PM's Memory box die, MME papers, needed to be flat for postage.

Then I needed to make a start with some bits I found, I was going to dump but then made these

and this that is a stamp I used a lot last year, but I love it's simplicity!

I hope we all have a warmer and dryer week to come.

Hello

A dry morning and a wet afternoon, went in the craft room for a few hours, I made and posted a quick card for an anniversary I had almost forgotten about,
Lidl Papers matted on to burgandy card,
a few gems, flowers and leaves.
Next was a sympathy card for a neighbour
One of my favorite stamps and metal corners stamped sentiment.

Then came  a wedding card
over the weekend I need 3 birthday cards
1 for my neighbour on Monday and 2 for grandsons in Australia.
That should keep me busy.

A sunny monday

Here near Manchester, no... it does not rain ALL the time lol .....
I have made a start on the very fast approaching festive season using one of my fave stamps....

Stamp is Kanban 2014, coloured with PM's, matted on to red card, pearl dots.

The next one is cheap and cheerful
DC papers, puffy stickers,  but fun

I also had to make a sympathy card and I love the simplicity of this

I need to use my embossing folders much more again!

I am busily sewing quilts for rellies in Oz....who have just moved to cooler climes on the East side, the Gold Coast to be exact.

Off to do some ironing before tea, hope you have a good week.
