Frustrating weekend

I made my first Christmas cake on Friday and I was a little disappointed as it sunk in the middle, yesterday I found out why!!! I made another cake and baked it in the small oven, I went to put last nights tea of meat and potato pie, with crust to cook and found my oven knackered again,!!!! only 2nd time I have used it after paying over £100.00 to have it repaired......... Oh, I DID laugh!!!! as you can imagine, the air was blue and I had to take my pie to my neighbour who cooked it for me!!!! (Christmas cake was cooking till 7.30pm) Sat down after with a glass of red and watched Rod Stewart !!
I have been to visit Aunty Sue every day and she is recuperating well, so easy to visit as she is very near to me, today I took a bacon and egg sandwich for her breakfast and a chicken sandwich for later lol

Todays card I hope to get into a couple of challenges, one was a sketch, but I have missed that as it finished last night!

PM papers
Cuttlebug snowflakes
House Mouse Image from my friend Jules (thanks)
coloured with promarkers and 3D glossed ballons
Matted onto navy cardstock
MS snowflakes glittered with spray and sparkle
sentiment and gems from stock

Sunday sketch and stamp----- sketch (too late) lol
Stampavive and more --------Challenge 114 Christmas
Gingerloft Challenge----- Winter (too late) lol

Sweet image and lovely card Tilly! Your story reminded me of one Christmas when the kids were small and I had to get the gas man out on Christmas Eve because my oven wouldn't work - all I had was the pilot light! xx
