Well, how nice to be a pensioner !!
Just got back from Community centre where I take Mum every Wednesday for bingo....today was our Christmas lunch, a lovely meal of veg soup, real roast turkey dinner, ( I hate the sliced turkey ) mince pie with cream and coffee, we were all given £20.00 each and a miniature bottle of Baileys....we then had a free draw and 4 games of bingo, Alan won a full house so he got £5.00 of Morrisons stamps.... all free!!! One lady took a bottle of Baileys and gave Mum a large glass, which went straight to her head, It took me all my time to get her in the car and then into the house lol.... drunk at 2.10 pm !!!! hehehehe.......

You made me have a big laugh, I work in sheltered housing, so I know how one drink goes to their heads, I could see you trying to get her into the car. I am glad you had a lovely time, even if you did not like the Turkey. I am sure she sat in the chair and went to sleep for a few hours, while you slaved away. Its amazing how much they can do at that grand age.
That great image is how I feel every day at the moment without the drink and now I am on a non fat diet, not sure what christmas lunch is going to be, unfortuntately I wont be able to go to the scheme lunch tomorrow because I am ill and the diet wont let me eat the meal. Have a quite day
