After a week, I am still without a car, apart from it being a fuel problem the garage are still not sure how to fix it .....after a conversation yesterday, I offered to barter and pay in groats!! (for the younger ones, this was currency from around 1279 to 1561 when we had the Britannia Groat until around 1855)I offered 3 Groats, a freshly baked milk loaf and an old bantem hen that no longer lays eggs......we did not reach a final agreement lol...
Todays card is for my Son in Darwin, I loved this image of Lewis (from Bugaboo) and because the wet season is now under way at approx 33 degrees, they have started to use the pool again. When I visited the first time in their dry season, they looked at me in horror when I suggested using the pool at ONLY 24 degrees hehehehe

Fab card Tilly, I like the fun image and the papers, take some fresh backed fruit scones down to that garage and wave them under there noise's tell them they cant have any til the cars fixed, that will do it.

I remember groats well Tilly, I used to get paid in them lol...fabulously gorgeous card your son will love it to bits, dont they realise 24 degrees is a hot summers day to us, hope your car is sorted soon and if it isnt tell them I will come over and make them an offer they cant refuse lol
