My Creative Classroom is an online arts and crafts learning center. Our interactive and in-depth courses are instructor led and filled with wonderful projects and techniques to help you get the most out of your supplies.
Our Spring 2014 Semester is well under way and will offer over 100 courses. Along with our Traditional Instructor-led Workshop Classes we have also added Self-Paced Workshops. We've also recently added more classes to our Library, which offers retired classes at 40%-50% off regular price.
Come join us on our blog, My Creative Life 2014, which will issue challenges to help us use all of our supplies this year. Along with that is the companion course with the same title, which is FREE to our newsletter subscribers. Come join in on the fun and test drive MCC.
We are excited to be sponsoring Crafty Catz. You can view our entire class list on our website at My Creative Classroom. You can also view classes on our Facebook Page too! South African crafters are new to the digital stamping world, with the first South African online digital image store launched in 2010 – Digistamps4Joy (or DS4J)http://www.digistamps4joy.co.za/eshop/. In May 2012, Margy Kieser took over ownership of DS4J, and there are now two South African artists who contribute to the more than 500 images available. Margy has taken the store to new heights and the store now stocks digis that are cute, whimsical, artistic, sometimes serious, and sometimes humorous. In addition, one of our own South African rubber stamp companies granted us permission for one range of rubber stamps to be converted into digistamp images. The store has PAYPAL, PAYFAST (South African) and EFT (South African) facilities. Digistamps4Joy offers a monthly freebie on the first Friday of every month, and holds regular bi-weekly card challenges that draw entries from many international card makers.
I made this diamond wedding criss cross card for my neighbour who asked for a special card.She loved it and so did the recipients.
The papers are First edition Daydream, they are embossed and shiny in real life.
The ribbon is from Mei Flower, lace from Crafty ribbons, flowers and gems a mixture from stash. I made the stick-pin with beads.
It is sewn on my machine all around the edges
On the back of the large green card is a heart edged with lime green ink and sentiment free from the internet.
Because of the flowers, I made a box for it so they would not get squashed!
I am entering the following challenges;
Crafty ribbons -------------------anything goes
Delightful challenges ---------------add ribbon
My heart pieces --------------------wedding or anniversary
It has been a lovely week.
On Monday we had a strawberry 'afternoon tea' at the sewing club and we all had to take china cups, saucers and plates
On Tuesday, my grandsons girlfriend graduated from Uni and has a job to go to in September and then my daughter-in-laws dog in Darwin Oz had 10 healthy puppies, 4 boys and 6 girls, what a handful for their Mum !!
Thank you for your visit and have a good week
Hugs Tilly x
