First..... our baby arrived in New Zealand. Sam was taken in to be induced on 2nd April but she never went into labour. Nothing much happened, so by the evening of the 4th they decided to do a C section the following day. I predicted the 5th months ago, when I was first told an April birth,... which would have been my Dad's birthday, I just wish I had gone to the bookies and put a bet on (if I knew how to lol) he was also born at 11.11 a.m. which is a lucky number to many people and also Easter Sunday,! what a special present for us.
His name is Oliver James, he weighed 7lb 5oz(the teddy has been named George after my Dad)
Here is the nappy holder I made for the nursery...........
close up of fabric
Finally, here are the Easter gifts made for my friends.........Tim Holts die.....
Photo's taken in a rush before they went, very washed out, chocolate bunnie's a steal at Aldi's....reduced price 3 weeks before Easter 69p for box of 36 which makes 12 of my boxes (3 each)and scraps of Easter papers used up! a win/win situation! just over 8p per box
this is a bit better, I decorated inside box as well, used up some peel-off's lol, beads from poundland, ribbon scraps
And my Grandson and g/f picked up the dog and took home 2 lots of mushroom soup made this morning, plus they demolished 8 shortbread biscuits and a brew and took 8 more home... all made today
WHAT A HAPPY EASTER !!!
I hope you have enjoyed your break.
Hugs Tilly x
PS Also had great news from my family in Darwin when I spoke to them this morning!!

That is a lovely happy post. Your really did have a Happy easter didn´t you. The baby is beautiful. I like his name too. My dad died six weeks before my son was born so we names him Jonathan after the Grandad he never knew.
You Easter bunny boxes are cute. Easy but fiddly to make.
It sounds as though your grandson appreciates your baking! That´s what family is all about. Kate x
