A lazy Sunday........

Good morning, here I am late again to join in with Annies Friday smiles.
This week I have been making bunting for my great nephew in New Zealand who is 14 weeks old.
How difficult to photograph!
I have had it all over the house and tied to chairs, wardrobes and doors lol...........it is longer than the picture makes it look, here is a close up of the beautiful fabrics
The pigs and mushrooms are so sweet in real life.

I have also made some bravery bead bags for Jo.( of Jozart)..........this is all fabric scraps I claimed as they were going to be binned! and all new fabric!

On Thursday I made 3 jars of strawberry jam
still to hot to put their hats on properly..........also

2 rhubarb and 5 apple crumbles for the freezer.
I went for a walk down the canal and one of our old mills is being renovated and turned into luxury flats, how exciting to keep the old beautiful building as so many of our mills have been demolished!

Leigh was a very big coal and cotton town, along with BICC cable manufacturing and also David Brown tractors and Massey Ferguson tractors and farm implements.
Now, as in a lot of other towns, we make nothing.
This Mum had her work cut out looking after her 8 babies, she needed eyes in her tail lol
Thank you for your visit
Hugs Tilly x
