Happy Sunday........

I hope you are enjoying your weekend, I went to the quilting exhibition at Harrogate on Saturday with my sewing group. A superb day, lots of fantastic quilts but pictures not allowed. But lots of dosh would have been most useful. I did buy something I have wanted/needed for a long time....... a daylight lamp, this is all singing and dancing, but I still need to erect it lol......it moves every way, bits can be put on, taken off, floor standing or table standing, I was sure it was a bargin price before the man tried to convince me lol.......I got the last one of course heheheheheh..........
I have no excuse for hibernating in winter now as soon as dusk comes...........
Here are some more of the things I have made for McMillan coffee day

Two gift bags made from the legs of old jeans and lined with gingham. lace flower from off-cuts

made from left-overs and ribbons

Geoffrey the giraffe...... isn't he cute, I love him and don't want to give him away, but needs must lol.
made from scraps and bits of felt. plus 6 odd buttons .........
I hope you are busy with your crafting, and isn't it going cold in the mornings and evenings..... I have had the electric blanket on the last 4 nights to warm my feet and get comfortable enough to sleep.
I need to sort the garden next before the weather gets colder, lots of cutting back to do but my green bin is full and will not be emptied for 2 weeks.
Thanks for your visit.

Hugs Tilly x

Lovely gifts for the coffee morning, it's a pity that you could not take some pictures, I would have loved to seen the quilts, not everyone can get there to see them. That's one thing I like about the parchment exhibition in Bristol they welcome people taking photos.
Hope you get your garden sorted before the weather sets in, perhaps we will have a late summer.
