Start of another Week......

Hope it is a better week without daft blonde moments lol.......last night I was winding my last lot of ribbons on to my card system when a friend? phoned... she could not get over the fact that I had 50 yards of 1/4 inch yellow gingham!!! so I did not mention the 25 yards of red satin or the 30 yards of grosgrain beige that I had just put away lol.....I don't see anything wrong with that! everyone needs a few ribbons (I have over 400 now)she wanted me to enter a blog challenge USING RIBBON !!! I would need a lie down if I did that lol.....Anyway, to keep the peace (and make sure of Father Christmas bringing a present) I have made a birthday card for my daughter-in-law in Darwin, Australia.. HAPPY NOW JANETTE???

What a time I had colouring this, 7 in bin and 1 on card....for some reason the image kept bleeding, never had that problem before, I used promarkers/ watercolours/prisma's/ hair spray/ matt card/ shiny card and a LOT of swearing, even used HP printer and Kodak printer......finally used the heat gun, pass the red wine and more ink !!!

White pearl for step card
Papers are DC Tea House (very pretty)matted onto pink card
Teddy Bea coloured with waterclolour pencils and prisma's
icing 3D gloss
Cupcake ut on cricut
punched flowers
Ribbons, from Mei flower
gems and dew drops from stash
Sentiment on back

I am entering this into the following challenges;

Crafty Catz -------- use ribbon

Alys Sunday Challenge -------- add a bow

Creative Inspirations Paint -------- Bows

Creations by Gill --------- Cupcakes

One stop craft challenge --------- Food and drink

Thank you for your visit, I hope you had a good weekend.

Hugs Tilly x

Hi Tilly,

Lovely card, love the colours and glad you use a bit of ribbon.
Good job Jeanette does not come down here, she would have a field day with my ribbon stash, I dont know how many yards I have as I still have a lot left from my flower shop, its going to be years before it is all used up.
