It's Crafty Catz time again lol
This week we would like you to make a book mark to celebrate the opening of Britain's first free library on 6th September 1852........ I know I have made very good use of my library especially when I was younger lol.......I hope you can find the time to join us........
We are sponsored this week by
ALOTA rubber stamps who kindly gave us an image....
Wow, was this difficult to photograph!! lol,
Because the bookmark is dark, it was making my image white, taking out all the colour, finally got the best shot on the bathroom sink, but it's not perfect.!
I made the card with cosmic shimmers in blue and lilac and then used a mat bought at Wigan Cardio to dab on distress ink in marmalade. I then heat embossed butterflies and stamped with inkadoo sentiment, I used fibres and charms from stash
Here is the Alota image we were kindly given, I have coloured her with promarkers and glamour dusted the heart, I chalked around the outside.
I moved the fibres to one side to show the embossing and card
This is the back of my bookmark and I have used a 'My daily bread' sentiment here and then a butterfly charm sitting on organdie, I used nesties ovals to cut my image
Sorry it's a long post, Thank you for your visit, I do appreciate it
I shall be making my way home from holiday today, so I shall hopefully see what you have all been up to over the weekend
Hugs Tilly x
