Good morning

It's another wet day here near Manchester which means our bowling will be off this morning......
I am joining in with Annie's smiles today to show you my three lilies. They grow to about 3 foot tall, sold as 'sky high lilies'
I have had them for 4 years now but they are a bit later coming into flower this year
because of the lack of sunshine, the perfume is wonderful
I also had a day at Llandudno on Tuesday with my grand-daughter. It stayed dry and was warm but not really sunny.
she took a selfie on the tram to the Orme
it was windy up here, we did a little shopping....well browsing as nothing was bought! We saw 4 of the chatacters from Alice in Wonderland as we wandered around
I think I shall spend today sewing..... I need to produce some goods for Julia's McMillan coffee day!
Hope you had a good week and thanks for your visit
Hugs Tilly x

I get an asthma attack with lilies in the house so really can't enjoy them but I've enjoyed yours today....aren't they stunning. It looks like you enjoyed your outing with your granddaughter....special memories made. My workshop is one I have every week....my friend comes to mine for the day for sewing lessons. She needed help with making a bag yesterday. Our day encludes lunch together....we take it in turns to provide it....and there is always lots of fun and laughter so I love it.
Hugs,

Hi Tilly, Long time no see...
What gorgeous lilies. I remember my first lily bulbs were a present. I put them in a pot without much thought, but was astounded at the result: Four enormous beautiful, fragrant lilies that lasted me for years.
Great photo of you and your granddaughter. Gosh you have a very pretty granddaughter!
What fun to see the characters from Alice in Wonderland. Are they permanent?
Thanks for the smiles
Have a great weekend,
Lisca

Look like a good day out in Llandudno. We weren't far away from you as we visited my SIL in Abergele and took her out for the day. We were going to go to Llandudno but decided on Bodnant Gardens instead!!!
Love your beautiful lilies especially the last one with all it's frills.
Have you had your hair cut shorter? It looks good in the pic on the tram.

Hi Tilly, I'm not sure we've met before. I've just popped over from Annie's. Lovely post, gorgeous flowers. I hadn't realised those Alice characters were there, brilliant. Hope you enjoy your day sewing, Angela x

Your lilies are beautiful, all of them.
Before we moved to Spain we lived in Oswestry, and we used to go to Llundudno for a day out. I liked all the ooloured hotel fronts, but it always seems to be windy there. (The roses on your page header are beautiful too!). Kate x
