Unfortunately, she had pulled muscles in her back the same morning, drying her legs getting out of the shower, so was in bed most of the time.
On Wednesday, I met up with the lovely Sam (Whisper) who kindly drove us to 'The Glitterpot', I could have spent a fortune, but because of having a new tyre, repaired wing mirror (don't ask) and the petrol, I was very restrained!
Afterwards, we had a super lunch at the golf club. I also got to meet H again who has grown so tall, he is such a charming young man who loves his rugby and football.
On Thursday, I met up with Sam in the morning and then I went on to Worthing, painful as I pulled the tendons in my hand just putting on the hand-brake!

I also visited the Old Fort.
On Friday, I visited Arundel and went to the Cathedral, just how out of breath can you be walking up a hill lol.........
I missed the annual 'carpet of flowers' by one day !!
inside was beautiful but the flowers gone.
I then went to the Castle.......
and the beautiful gardens, so much to see..........
looks a bit like mine at home.... I wish
I did cut my visit short as driving was really making my hand worse. I arrived back home late Saturday afternoon, to see absolute droves of people going to see Elton John in concert in our local sports stadium.
Lots more to see of this beautiful County when I go back in the future. My thanks to Avril and Sam
