Good morning

What beautiful sunshine we have at the moment, the weather seems to be all extremes and I feel so sorry for the people in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands who have had the massive floods.

Yesterday my great granddaughter was two !! here is the card I made her

A favorite image from Mo Manning, coloured with PM's, DC pastels paper, Paper Boutique heart die, ribbon, butterfly, candle, card candy, hearts and balloons from stash.

As part of her present I made her a dress and panties. These were made from one of her Mummy's favorite dresses..  It was almost new but it tore near the straps and could not be repaired.  I added the navy zigzag and snail motif from stash.

I knitted the cardigan but it was not made to go with the dress, just wool I had in.

Not a lot will be happening today in 27 degrees but I need a birthday card in the post by tonight and then reading in the shade sounds good.

Send an ark or a lifeboat!!!

Well, here in the North West of England, it has not stopped raining since Wednesday night! It has been our turn for floods although in our little spot we have escaped. Just 6 miles down the road they have had houses with rivers running through. It is dry this morning for a few hours before the rain and storms return.........at least my craft room is upstairs lol.

Today I am showing you the first little vest and hat which I knitted over the Jubilee week-end. This is for the fish and chip babies in Africa, which I am sure you have, by now, heard about, I have another one half made. As you know, they have to be made in darker colours than we use for babies, as they never get washed.

I hope you have a lovely weekend, I also hope you keep dry and warm........ yes, it's still chilly for mid June. I am going to watch the last day at Ascot after I get Mum up. I love watching the fashions. How lovely was it yesterday for the Queen to have a winner in her Jubliee year! Also to recieve the trophy from Prince Phillip!

Happy crafting, thanks for your visit
