Hello............

It's certainly feeling more like Autumn, the fire is going on when I sit down after tea.
I am busy at the moment sewing for my friend Julia who has a McMillan coffee DAY !
She works so hard all year round for this cause. Here are two jeans cushions I made the other day to be sold. I am in the middle of other projects for her.

We had a heritage weekend last week and there was so much going on around town, I only managed the Town Hall tour and listened to a local school brass band. They were excellent. Bus went on WW1 tour around the town,
In the library were local photo's and paintings, here is one on WW1 German Troups being marched through town on the way to an interment camp

There was boat trips and also canoe lessons on our canal.....

I then caught up with an organ recital in the Parish Church and then our choir had a half our stint singing songs from between the first and second wars. Lunch then beckoned and of to what used to be a cinima where I worked the evening shift 3 nights a week when I was in my 20's but is now a pub/restarant. Named after a famous local born Tenor opera singer from the 20's ,...... Thomas Burke.....
.had a lovely Ceaser chicken,   and it even came with a free drink (we chose red wine lol)
Off to make tea, happy Tuesday

Hugs Tilly x
