I had a lovely day out with friends on Wednesday, visiting St Helens Glass Museum....it was very interesting, all about the Pilkington family, a walk through an old kiln seeing passeges for retaining and reusing heat from the furnaces, and a demonstration of glass blowing at the end, a lovely cafe as well. I have started to crochet my blanket squares together this week,, so look forward to the end product!!
